Paideia Educational Solutions (“We”) is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of users (“You”) when accessing and using the applications, websites (www.paideia.id), features, technologies, content and products that We provide (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

Personal Data provided by the User is data submitted consciously and without any pressure or coercion from any party. The integrity and security of Personal Data, including User account data (username and password), is also fully the User's responsibility. We are not responsible and cannot be held accountable for the misuse of such data due to User negligence.

By visiting and/or registering an Account on Our Platform, You and/or your parents, guardians or custodians (if you are under 18 (eighteen) years of age) accept and agree to the approaches and methods described in this Privacy Policy. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully so that You understand Our approach and methods in using the information.

We may collect Personal Information in the form of:

1. Information you provide

This information may be provided through electronic forms on Our Platform as well as by corresponding via phone, email, social media accounts, surveys, online discussions, and so on. The information you provide may include name, address, teaching details (including school name and responsibility position), email address, phone number, financial and credit card information, personal descriptions, photos, and other data. We may ask you to verify the information you provide, to ensure the accuracy of the information.

2. Information we collect

For each of your visits to Our Platform, We may collect the following information automatically:

  • Technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, browser type and version used, time zone settings, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • Information about your visit, including a complete list of Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) visited to, through, and from Our Platform (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse movements), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call Our customer service number.

3. Information we receive from other sources

We may receive information if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. We also work closely with third parties (including, but not limited to, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) (“Our Partners”) and may receive information from them. We will take reasonable steps to verify the information we get from other sources in accordance with Applicable Regulations.

4. Data from Mobile Device Settings

We obtain information you allow us to receive such as access to your camera or photos, videos, voice messages, files, and location to provide our service features.

We use Personal Information in the following ways:

(a) Verifying Personal Information in your account; (b) Carrying out Our obligations to provide information, products, and services to you; (c) Subject to applicable laws and regulations, providing, or allowing Our Partners (whether located inside or outside the Republic of Indonesia) to provide, our information, products and services, along with any changes, to you; (d) Subject to applicable laws and regulations, conducting, or allowing Our Partners (whether located inside or outside the Republic of Indonesia) to conduct, research to improve the quality of experience and services in using the Platform; (e) Socializing, publishing, or promoting our products and services; (f) Communicating directly with you.

2. Information we collect:

(a) To administer Our Platform and internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, and other statistical and survey purposes; (b) To improve Our Platform to ensure content and experiences are presented in the most effective manner for you; (c) As part of our efforts to keep Our Platform safe and secure; (d) To present relevant products and services to you; (e) To make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users on Our Platform regarding products and services that may interest you and them.

3. Information we receive from other sources:

We use Google Analytics as a tool to analyze User behavior from using the Platform (“Site Analysis Tool”), provided that no Site Analysis Tool provider will collect, and we will not provide to any Site Analysis Tool provider, any personally identifiable information of our Users, including but not limited to name, age, address, email address, phone number and financial and credit card information of our Users. One of the Google Analytics features we use is Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting).

Storage of Personal Information

All Personal information you provide to Us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions on the Platform will be encrypted. By submitting your Personal Information on the Platform, you agree to this transfer, storing, and processing on Our Platform.

We will take reasonable steps in accordance with applicable laws and regulations necessary to ensure that such Personal Information is treated securely and in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Where We have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Our platform contains links to and from the websites of our partner networks, affiliates, and other unrelated third parties. Please note that we are not responsible or have any liability for these policies as these sites have their own Privacy Policies.

Cookies are a small digital file consisting of letters and numbers that We store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer upon your consent. When you use the Platform, We may place a number of cookies in your browser memory.

When such changes, additions and/or amendments are made, we will change the date in the 'Last updated' section above and post the new Privacy Policy.

We are very concerned about the protection of children's online privacy, therefore we want to inform you, as a legal parent and guardian (as used in this section, “parent”) about our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing Personal Information from children under the age of 13 (“children”).

Children can access some parts of our applications and their content and use some of their features without providing Personal Information to us. However, most of the Services' content and features are only available to Students from registered accounts and require us to collect certain information, including Personal Information, from them.
